For parents

Your chair is right beside theirs.

Being close matters. At Pebblefin, you are welcome back with your child for every visit, at every age.

You belong in the room

A chair for you, right beside theirs

Every treatment room has a parent chair beside the dental chair, so you can stay close from the first hello through the conversation at the end.

Every visit, every age

Every treatment room has a parent chair beside the dental chair. You are welcome to sit with your child from the first hello through the conversation at the end. We want you to see what your child sees and hear what we are explaining.

“I sat right next to her the whole time. Nobody asked me to leave, and that was all I needed.”
Marcus T., Broussard

The one exception

For IV sedation with our visiting dental anesthesiologist, you stay until your child is asleep. We bring you back before they wake up.

Teens and siblings

Teens 13 and up can choose to go back on their own. We always call the parent in for the conversation at the end. One sibling is welcome to sit in for a checkup. For fillings, we ask siblings to wait in the play corner with another adult.

Questions are welcome

We explain what is happening in plain language and make time for your questions. You know your child best, and that matters in the room.
