Calm options

Laughing air, explained

Nitrous oxide, or laughing air, is $60 a visit. Your child stays awake, can talk with us, and can take a little more room to settle into care.

We also use space maintainers when a baby tooth comes out early. For a toddler’s cavity, silver diamine fluoride can stop it when waiting is the kinder choice.

For anxious children

Laughing air

Nitrous oxide, or “laughing air,” is available for $60 a visit. It can help a child settle while still awake and able to communicate.

IV sedation

Our visiting dental anesthesiologist is in the office two Fridays each month. This option is for young children with a lot of treatment to complete. We quote the cost in writing ahead of time.

We keep the plan human

Some children need a break. Some need to see and touch before they are ready. There is no prize for pushing through a visit. We will stop, regroup, and try again when that is the kinder choice.
